The Host<\/h4>

Don is the engine behind 3 Guys and a Flick \u2014 part film scholar, part editor, part ringmaster trying to keep two chaos goblins on-topic. Unlike most internet movie \u201cexperts,\u201d Don actually studied film, which explains how he can turn a Ghostbusters discussion into a cinematography lesson before immediately making a \u201cthat\u2019s what she said\u201d joke.<\/p>\n

Don loves smart filmmaking, sharp dialogue, practical effects, and movies that respect the audience. He\u2019s the guy spotting continuity errors, editing tricks, and hidden references while everyone else is eating popcorn.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n \n

Ken is the intellectual heavyweight of the group, a real teacher with real students and the patience of a saint for somehow putting up with the other 2 guys. On the podcast, he brings equal parts intelligence, dry humor, and the energy of a teacher who has absolutely had enough of everyone\u2019s nonsense.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s analytical, thoughtful, occasionally savage, and somehow capable of turning a dumb action movie conversation into a philosophical discussion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n \n

Jon is exactly what happens when a comic book store, a horror convention, and a Coca-Cola fueled movie marathon merge into one human being. He is the resident comic book nerd of 3 Guys and a Flick, and proudly so.<\/p>\n

Jon\u2019s ratings make perfect sense once you realize he emotionally bonded with superheroes, monsters, and sci-fi movies at an early age. If there\u2019s a masked vigilante, creature feature, horror icon, or deep-cut comic reference hiding in a movie, Jon will find it. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n <\/div>\n\n \n \n

Somewhere between arguing over movie ratings, quoting films nobody else remembered, and spending way too much time debating whether Die Hard<\/em> is a Christmas movie, 3 Guys and a Flick was born.<\/p>

Not in a glamorous Hollywood studio.<\/p>

Not during a life-changing cinematic revelation.<\/p>

And definitely not because anyone thought podcasting was a good financial decision.<\/p>

It started the same way most bad ideas do: three friends arguing about movies for way too long and realizing other people were either entertained\u2026 or physically unable to escape the conversation.<\/p>

Don \u201cThe Host\u201d \u2014 was the first to suggest turning the endless movie debates into an actual podcast. Mostly because after years of film school, editing experience, and cinematic obsession, he figured there had to be a better outlet than cornering innocent people at parties to explain why practical effects peaked in 1987.<\/p>

Ken \u201cThe Professor\u201d \u2014 joined because as an actual teacher, he already spent his days explaining things to people who never asked. Podcasting felt like a natural extension of that suffering. Armed with intelligence, logic, and the patience of a man who grades papers for a living, Ken quickly became the voice of reason\u2026 which is unfortunate because nobody listens to the voice of reason on this show.<\/p>

Then there\u2019s Jon \u201cThe Comic Book Guy\u201d \u2014 who likely appeared from a Marvel sparkle circle after hearing someone misquote Batman lore within a 50-mile radius. Jon brought the encyclopedic knowledge of superheroes, horror movies, sci-fi, cult classics, internet theories, and deeply unnecessary trivia that no human should reasonably retain. If there\u2019s an obscure movie fact hidden somewhere on the internet, Jon has already brought it up…repeatedly.<\/p>

What started as an arguments in movie theater parking lots quickly escalated into full-blown cinematic warfare.<\/p>

Over the years, 3 Guys and a Flick evolved into a strange mix of movie criticism, comedy, nostalgia, and complete chaos. One minute you\u2019ll hear legitimate film discussion about directing, cinematography, and storytelling\u2026 and the next minute someone is defending a terrible 1980s movie like it belongs in the Library of Congress.<\/p>

The show became a home for movie lovers who still believe films should be fun, memorable, weird, quotable, emotional, ridiculous, and worth arguing about long after the credits roll.<\/p>

Since then, the guys have reviewed everything from beloved classics and horror favorites to comic book blockbusters, cult disasters, forgotten gems, and movies that probably should\u2019ve remained buried in a vault somewhere.<\/p>

So whether you\u2019re here for the nostalgia, the arguments, the sarcasm, the trivia, or just to hear three grown men passionately debate fictional characters like it\u2019s a congressional hearing\u2026Welcome to 3 Guys and a Flick<\/a>.<\/p>
