Short Plot Summary
Inventor Rand Peltzer buys a mysterious creature called a mogwai as a Christmas gift for his son Billy, along with three important rules: keep it out of bright light, never get it wet, and never feed it after midnight. When those rules are broken, cute little Gizmo accidentally spawns a pack of destructive gremlins that turn the quiet town of Kingston Falls into a holiday nightmare.
