Short Plot Summary
Peter Gibbons is a burned-out software worker trapped in a cubicle at Initech, where pointless meetings, TPS reports, and corporate downsizing have drained his will to care. After a hypnotherapy session leaves him strangely relaxed, Peter stops showing up on time, ignores his boss, starts dating Joanna, and somehow becomes management material. When he and his coworkers try to get revenge on the company, their tiny scam spirals into a full-blown panic.
