In a post-apocalyptic wasteland ruled by tyrants and scarcity, drifter Max Rockatansky becomes entangled with Imperator Furiosa, a rebel attempting to rescue a group of enslaved women from the warlord Immortan Joe. Their escape across the desert sparks a relentless vehicular pursuit involving heavily modified war machines and fanatical warriors.
