Short Plot Summary
In 1957 Maine, young Hogarth Hughes discovers a massive alien robot that has crashed near his town. As Hogarth befriends the gentle Giant and teaches him about life, death, and heroism, paranoid government agent Kent Mansley becomes convinced the robot is a threat. With help from beatnik artist Dean McCoppin, Hogarth must protect his new friend before fear turns the Giant into the weapon everyone assumes he is.
