Short Plot Summary
Philadelphia detective John Hobbes watches serial killer Edgar Reese die in the gas chamber, only for Reese’s murder pattern to continue after the execution. As Hobbes investigates, he learns that the killer may not be human at all, but a body-hopping demon named Azazel who can move from person to person by touch. With paranoia spreading and no one safe, Hobbes must find a way to stop an enemy that can wear almost any face.
