Soundtrack / Score

  • The score was composed by Hans Zimmer.
  • Zimmer created a new musical identity for Superman rather than reusing John Williams’ classic 1978 Superman theme.

Easter Eggs

  • The film includes several DC Universe references, including LexCorp and Wayne Enterprises Easter eggs.
  • The Codex plotline reframes Superman’s Kryptonian heritage as both biological legacy and political threat.
  • Clark’s final arrival at the Daily Planet sets up his classic reporter identity for future films.
  • The title Man of Steel uses one of Superman’s most famous nicknames instead of simply calling the movie Superman.
