📖 Short Plot Summary

Hotshot Navy pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell and his radar intercept officer Goose are sent to the Navy’s elite Fighter Weapons School, better known as TOPGUN. Maverick’s talent is undeniable, but his ego, recklessness, and need to prove himself put him at odds with Iceman, his instructors, and even his own confidence. After tragedy hits, Maverick has to decide whether he can climb back into the cockpit, trust his training, and become the pilot everyone thinks he could be.
